A man has died after a crash in the state's north west overnight.
About 4am today, Sunday 26 January 2025, emergency services were called to Wilmotts Road, Spring Ridge (approximately 70km south of Gunnedah), after reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Officers attached to Oxley Police District attended and found a vehicle had crashed into a tree.
The driver, a man believed to be aged in his 20's, died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
A male passenger also aged in his 20's was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Tamworth Hospital in a stable condition.
Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
