Burwood detectives are investigating the death of a man following a stabbing in Concord overnight.
About 12.30am today (Saturday 20 July 2024), emergency services were called to a home on Spring Street, Concord, following reports a man had been stabbed.
Officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command arrived to find a man in his 30s outside the property with multiple stabs wounds to his chest.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man for his injuries, but he died at the scene.
The man is yet to be formally identified.
Police have established a crime scene and detectives are investigating the incident.
Following inquiries, detectives arrested a 15-year-old boy nearby.
He was taken to Burwood Police Station where he is assisting with inquiries.
