Emergency services responded to reports a tree had fallen on a tent and vehicle in Kevington this morning.
The large tree had fallen at a campground near Eildon Jamieson Road about 3am.
The 27-year-old Bayles man died at the scene.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
