A driver has died after a tree fell on his vehicle in the state's Central West this afternoon.
About 3.50pm today (Wednesday 15 January 2025), emergency services were called to Lachlan Valley Way, Cowra, and found a man had died at the scene.
Officers attached to Chifley Police District have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.
While the man is yet to be formally identified, he's believed to be aged in his 80s.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
