A report will be prepared for the Coroner after a body was pulled from water at Dorrigo, 35km west of Coffs Harbour, at the weekend.
Just before 11.30am on Sunday 27 August 2023, emergency services responded to the Dangar Falls, Dorrigo, after reports a man who had been swimming at the location had failed to re-surface.
Following an extensive search by NSW Police, NSW SES, NSW Ambulance and Westpac, a man's body was recovered from the water about 6pm that day (Sunday 27 August 2203).
The body has since been identified as a 45-year-old man from the Mid North Coast.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
