A man has died after his car struck a tree in Kotta near Echuca this morning, Victoria Police say.
Investigators believe the car was travelling east along Echuca-Mitiamo Road when it lost control and struck a tree near Nicholson Lane about 7.35am.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The road is currently blocked off to traffic and drivers are urged to avoid the area if possible.
