Man Dies In Crash On Mount Ousley

A man has died following a two-vehicle crash on Mount Ousley today.

About 4.10pm (Friday 19 July 2024), emergency services responded to reports of a crash between a vehicle and motorcycle on the M1 Motorway, near New Mount Pleasant Road, Mount Pleasant, on Mount Ousley.

The rider, a 32-year-old man, died before the arrival of emergency services.

The driver, a 25-year-old woman, was uninjured and taken to Wollongong Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Wollongong Police District have established crime scene and specialist police are investigating the cause of the crash.
