Man Dies In Hospital After Clonbinane Collision

A man has died in hospital following a collision in Clonbinane on Thursday.

It is understood a Nissan Patrol and a motorcycle collided head on while travelling on Main Mountain Road about 12.20pm.

The solo rider, an 82-year-old Glenburn man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and has since died.

The occupants of the Nissan were uninjured.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
