A man has died following a collision in Allendale yesterday (28 August), Victoria Police say.
It is believed a car was travelling south on the Creswick-Newstead Road when it crossed over onto the wrong side of the road and struck a power pole about 4.15am.
The 25-year-old Welshmans Reef man, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, sustained life threatening injuries.
He died in hospital overnight.
Creswick police are investigating and the exact cause of the collision is yet to be determined.
