Police are investigating after a man was hit by a car in Sunbury this morning, Victoria Police say,
Emergency services were called to the scene about 6.15am after reports that a man had been hit by a car in a car park on Stewarts Lane.
The man, believed to be aged in his 30s, died at the scene.
The car was driven from the scene but police have identified and arrested the driver, who is believed to be a woman aged in her 30s.
She is currently assisting police with their enquiries and investigators believe the parties are known to each other.
Homicide Squad detectives are en route to the scene and anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
