Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a man in Torquay this morning.
Emergency services were called to reports a man had been pulled unresponsive from the water at Torquay Beach, on the Esplanade, about 10.15am.
Members of the public performed CPR on the man, but it was unsuccessful.
The yet-to-be-formally identified man died at the scene.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
