A man has died a week after being critically injured in a single-vehicle crash in the state's Far West.
About 3.15pm on Tuesday 15 February 2022, emergency services were called to the Barrier Highway, about 45km west of Broken Hill, following reports a motorcycle had crashed.
Police were told the rider was thrown from the motorcycle before it was destroyed by fire.
The rider – a 70-year-old man – was taken to Broken Hill Hospital before he was airlifted to Royal Adelaide Hospital. Police have been told the man died on Tuesday (22 February 2022).
Officers from Barrier Police District are investigating and will prepare a report for the Coroner.
