Man Drowns At South Coast Beach

A man has died after drowning at a beach on the South Coast.

About 3.30pm today (Monday 3 February 2025), emergency services were called to Narrawallee Beach on Matron Porter Drive, Narrawallee, to reports of a man in distress in the water.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District with assistance from NSW Ambulance, Mollymook Surf Life Saving and the Toll Rescue Helicopter responded.

NSW Ambulance paramedics performed CPR on the man – believed to be in his 50s – however he couldn't be revived.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
