Police will prepare a report for the coroner following the death of a man in Balnarring Beach this afternoon.
It is understood the man fell out of a kayak and into the water near Mason-Smith Road about 1pm.
The man was pulled from the water by bystanders.
Paramedics tried to revive the man, but he died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
