A man has been fatally stabbed in Sydney's Inner West.
About 7.40pm today (Monday 23 September 2024), emergency services responded to reports of a man being stabbed on Marrickville Road, Marrickville.
Officers from Inner West Police Area Command and NSW Ambulance paramedics performed CPR but the man could not be revived and he died at the scene.
A crime scene has been established which has resulted in a number of streets being closed. These closures are expected to remain in place for a considerable amount of time and motorists are urged to avoid the area.
