Man Found Injured In Queanbeyan, Inquiry Underway

Inquiries are underway after a man was found injured in Queanbeyan early this morning.

Officers attached to Monaro Police District were called to Monaro Street about 1.30am (Wednesday 11 September 2024), where they found a man suffering stab wounds to his arm and leg.

Police rendered first aid until NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived and took the man to Canberra Hospital where he's reported to be in a serious but stable condition.

A crime scene has been established in Monaro Street which is undergoing specialist examination by Scene of Crime officers.

Detectives are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to call Queanbeyan Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
