Police are investigating after a man was hit by his own truck on the state’s Central Coast today, NSW Police say.
About 7.45am today, emergency services were called to Warnervale Road, Warnervale, following reports of crash.
Police have been told the truck had stopped due to mechanical issues, and the 46-year-old driver got out to investigate.
The driver was underneath the vehicle when it moved and hit him.
The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command are continuing their inquiries.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
