A man is due to appear in court today charged with stalking and intimidation, following an incident at a children’s soccer match in Sydney’s south west, NSW Police say.
Police from Macquarie Fields Local Area Commands have been told a man made threats to another person watching the match at Kooringa Reserve, Raby, about 11.20am on Saturday 13 May 2017.
Following inquiries, a 34-year-old man was arrested in Minto today.
He was taken to Macquarie Fields Police Station, where he was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm.
The man, from Denham Court, was refused bail overnight and will appear in Parramatta Bail Court tomorrow.
