Man In Critical Condition After Assault At Windsor

A man is in critical condition following an alleged assault at a motel in Sydney's north west.

About 12.40am today (Tuesday 4 June 2024), emergency services were called to a motel on George Street, Windsor, following reports a man was being assaulted in a motel room.

On arrival, officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command found a 27-year-old man with severe head injuries.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Westmead in a critical condition.

A 53-year-old man has been taken to Windsor Police Station where he is assisting police with inquiries.

Police have established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
