Man In Hospital After Sustaining Gunshot Wound

A man remains in a stable condition after presenting to a hospital with a gunshot wound overnight.

Just after midnight (Friday 28 June 2024), emergency services attended Bankstown Hospital following reports a man had presented with a gunshot wound.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 37-year-old man before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.

He remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
