A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a stabbing at Broadford earlier this afternoon, Victoria Police say.
Police have been told the victim, a 33-year-old Broadford man, was involved in an altercation with two other men on a golf course just before 5pm.
As a result the victim sustained a serious stab wound to his upper thigh and was airlifted to a Melbourne hospital.
A 31-year-old Clonbinane man was arrested at the scene and has been admitted to hospital for observation.
Investigators believe that all three men are known to each other.
