A man has been injured after an alleged glassing in Redfern overnight, NSW Police say.
About 11pm today, police were called to a licensed premises on Redfern Street, Redfern following reports of an assault.
Officers from Redfern Local Area Command attended and were told two men unknown to each other became involved in an altercation. One of the men has hit the second man with a glass, causing a laceration to his ear.
A 36-year-old man, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the incident is underway and police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
