Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fatal collision in Newbury this morning, Victoria Police say.
A light truck and car collided at the intersection of Greendale-Trentham and Beachs roads about 7.45am.
The driver of the car, a man aged in his 30s, died at the scene.
The male driver of the truck has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives are investigating and urge any witnesses or anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
