Man Killed In Truck And Car Crash At Wilberforce

A man has died following a two vehicle crash in Sydney's west.

About 4:35am today (Tuesday 19 November 2024), emergency services were called to Wilberforce Road, near Freemans Reach Road, Wilberforce, following reports of a two-vehicle crash.

Officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command attended and found a truck with a dog and a hatchback had collided.

The male driver of the hatchback – believed to be aged 19, was found deceased at the scene.

He is yet to be formally identified.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.

The male truck driver, age unknown, was uninjured and will be taken to Nepean Hospital for mandatory testing.

Police have established a crime scene and commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Road closures are in place along Wilberforce Road, from the roundabout at Freemans Reach Road and Rose Street.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area and allow additional travel time.
