The man reported missing from the state's Mid North Coast today has been located safe and well.
The 71-year-old was last seen about 9am (Friday 27 January 2023), at his home in Woombah.
When he could not be located, he was reported missing to officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District, who commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.
Following inquiries, including a public appeal for assistance and geo-targeted SMS, the man was located just before 9pm in West Ballina. He has since been reunited with his family.
Police thank all who shared the appeal and provided information to assist in locating him.
