A man missing from Sydney's west has been located safe and well in Padstow.
The 69-year-old man was last seen near his home on Chifley Street, Smithfield, about 1.30pm yesterday (1 March 2022).
He was reported missing to officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command who commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.
Following extensive inquiries and multiple geo-target messages issued, he was located safe and well in the Padstow area a short time ago.
Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
