Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's west.
Alaa Al-Ghrabi aged 34, was last seen walking along the Hume Highway at Yagoona about 10.30am today (Saturday 20 April 2024).
He was reported missing to officers attached to the Bankstown Police Area Command who commenced to locate him.
There have been extensive inquiries into Alaa's whereabouts without success and police are now appealing to the public for assistance.
Police hold concerns for Alaa's welfare has he lives with multiple medical conditions and requires daily medication. He may have suffered a laceration but specific details are not known.
Alaa is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance with an olive complexion, short black hair, short clean-cut beard, and dark eyes. He is about 165cm-170cm tall and slim build. When last seen he was wearing black pants, a black hoodie and black shoes.
He is known to frequent the Granville and Sydney CBD areas, particularly around Town Hall, and uses the public transport system.
