Man robbed of car at Elizabeth East, South Australia

Police are investigating a carjacking at a park in Elizabeth East this morning.

Just after 4am Thursday 24 October the victim, a 26-year-old Elizabeth Vale man had been sitting in his Blue Ford sedan at Fremont Park when he was threatened by two men, one allegedly armed with a knife.

The pair stole the victim's car and drove off toward Main North Road. Thankfully the victim wasn't physically injured.

A short time later, about 4.20am police were called to Macdonald Park after the stolen car crashed near the intersection of Mcintyre Road and Robert Road.

PD Nero searched the area, but the suspects were not located.

The men are both described as Caucasian. One was about 180cm tall, medium build, aged in his early 30s with a stubbly light brown moustache. He was wearing a black balaklava, black hoodie with white writing on the front, light grey track pants, dark coloured shoes.

The second man was about 170cm tall, slim build, aged in his late 20s. This man was also wearing a black balaklava, black crew neck jumper, dark jeans and boots.
