Man's body recovered from water at Port Adelaide, South Australia

Police have recovered a man's body from the water at Port Adelaide.

Just before 11.30am on Saturday 18 April, patrols and paramedics were called to the wharf area near McLaren Parade, after reports of a man's body floating the water.

Despite desperate resuscitation efforts by police the man, a 53-year-old from Port Adelaide, sadly died.

There are no suspicious circumstances and police will prepare a report for the State Coroner.
