A man is in the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious condition after he was stabbed in the chest this afternoon at Gilberton.
Just after 4.30pm on Friday 29 March, police patrols and ambulance officers attended a group of units on Park Terrace following reports of man with a stab wound to the chest.
On arrival, a 26-year-old man from Gilberton had a plastic chopstick penetrating the left side of his chest.
The injured man was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he has undergone emergency surgery.
Eastern District Detectives are investigating the incident.
