Man Stabbed During Brawl In Sydney CBD

A man has been stabbed after a brawl in the Sydney CBD.

About 12.30am today (Sunday 8 September 2024), emergency services responded to reports of a brawl at Circular Quay where a 20-year-old was stabbed in the chest with a broken glass bottle.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was taken to St Vincent's Hospital in a stable condition.

Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command have been informed that another male involved in the incident left the scene prior to the arrival of emergency services.

Neither party are believed to be known to one another.
