A man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for an alleged assault offence has been arrested.
Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District last week made a public appeal for assistance to locate a 47-year-old man wanted by virtue of an outstanding warrant.
Following inquiries, the man was arrested earlier today (Friday 21 February 2025), before being taken to Dubbo Police Station where he has been charged with the warrant for the offence of assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV).
The man, from Dubbo, has been refused bail to appear via AVL in Parramatta Local Court tomorrow (Saturday 22 February 2025).
