Man Wanted On Outstanding Warrant Arrested In Illawarra

A 37-year-old man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for multiple offences has been arrested in the state's south.

About 10:30pm Friday (6 September 2024), police attached to Lake Illawarra Police District attended a property at Barrack Heights and arrested the man.

He was taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station and charged with three counts of break & enter house etc steal value less than or equal to $60,000 and larceny value less than or equal to $2000.

He appeared in Wollongong Local Court yesterday (Saturday 7 September 2024) and was refused bail, to reappear in the same court tomorrow (Monday 9 September 2024).
