Mildura Arts Centre's (MAC) free monthly live music event, Twilight, is going from strength to strength in 2023, rapidly developing an-ever growing crowd base with each event.
Councillor for Arts, Culture and Heritage Helen Healy said it was great to see the way Sunraysia residents had embraced the event since its return late last year.
"Mildura Arts Centre has really developed a successful formula with Twilight, evidenced by continually growing numbers, with over 600 at the February event," Cr Healy said.
"The combination of multiple live music acts in a beautiful setting on the Mildura Arts Centre lawns, coupled with the opportunity to explore nearby art exhibitions or wander through historic Rio Vista Historic House is really something special and unique to our region.
"It also appeals to such a broad audience, from families looking for a relaxing, community-friendly night out, through to young people looking to kick off their weekend with local live music before going out.
"And despite these sometimes vastly difference audiences, they all seamlessly meld together to create a wonderful atmosphere at each event."
This month's Twilight will be held on Friday, 17 March starting at 5pm, featuring 14-year-old Hazel Symonds and Jonathan Fuda, two of Sunraysia's most talented performers who've joined forces to share the stage as a duo.
Taking influences from the likes of Amy Winehouse and John Mayer, their sounds is a mix of chilled-out acoustic vibes and blended pop.
Another local duo, the Tyler and Maddie Duo, will perform their own renditions of songs spanning several decades, including a host of regular favourites.
The third act for the night will be The Shared Affair, a local bluegrass and folk quartet who love nothing more than performing with a whole host of different instruments, creating a fun vibe on stage.
Food and drink will be available from either the Vista Cafe Bar or food trucks by Verdict Catering and the Merbein Lions Club.
