Police have charged two men following an incident in Maryborough on April 5.
Around 10.40pm, police were called to Sheldon Drive following reports a 47-year-old Maryborough woman had allegedly been struck by a vehicle.
Investigations indicate two Maryborough men, aged 20 and 25 arrived at the property in a Holden Commodore, before an altercation allegedly ensued between several people.
The men fled the scene in the Commodore, before allegedly returning a short time later and driving at the woman and striking her with the vehicle.
The woman sustained injuries to her legs and was transported to Maryborough Hospital.
The vehicle came to a stop, and a 22-year-old Maryborough man allegedly entered the backseat from outside and wounded the 25-year-old driver with a knife.
The occupants of the Commodore allegedly fled the scene before seeking medical treatment where they were taken into custody.
The 22-year-old Maryborough man was charged with one count of wounding.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Maryborough Magistrates Court today, April 7.
The 25-year-old Maryborough man was charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, unlawful possession of weapons, authority required to possess explosives, possess property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence and dangerous operation of a vehicle.
He is expected to appear in the Maryborough Magistrates Court on April 22.
