The Ordinary Meeting of Council was held on Tuesday 22 February 2022 in Queenstown. The meeting was available via LIVE Stream to the public. The meeting was open to the public however, there were no public attendees.

Cr Ryan- Sykes I would like to ask if the council could give free native trees to ratepayers done a voucher system that is received by ratepayers when they receive their rate notices as a mitigation measure of Council against the consequences of climate change? |

39/22 REPORT - FOOTPATH ASSET MANAGEMENT PLAN
Recommendation |
That Council: Note that the next stage of the Asset Management Plan - Footpaths will require identification of footpaths not to be maintained/replaced at end of life in accordance with the service levels in the plan or a significant increase in operational funding. AND A. Adopt the Asset Management Plan – Footpaths and agree to modify the Long-Term Financial Plan and Rates Policy to provide an additional $750,000 p.a. OR; B. Adopt but Modify the Asset Management Plan – Footpaths to achieve the upgrades over 30 years and note that no overall increases footpath quality or service levels are expected. |
