Executive MBA also highly rated, ranked 26th in the world and 2nd in Australia
Sydney Business School, UOW has maintained its high ranking in CEO Magazine's annual Global Master of Business Administration (MBA) Rankings.
The MBA program at Sydney Business School, UOW was given a Tier One ranking and the Executive MBA (EMBA) program was ranked 26th globally (and 2nd in Australia) in the 2022 Global MBA Rankings.
To determine the rankings, CEO Magazine evaluates data from 180 institutions around the world which offer 347 different programs in 27 countries (98 online, 92 EMBA and 157 full-time and part-time MBA programs).
The ranking system is entirely geared and weighted to fact-based criteria providing students with a performance benchmark.
The criteria the programs are judged on are: quality of faculty, international diversity, class size, accreditation, faculty to student ratio, price, international exposure, work experience, professional development, gender parity, and delivery methods.
Schools are ranked as Tier One or Tier Two based on their overall percentage score from these data points.
Executive Dean of the University of Wollongong's Faculty of Business and Law Professor Colin Picker was delighted with the news.
"I am thrilled to see that our high quality and innovate EMBA program has been recognised as one of the best in the world," he said.
UOW also featured in MBA News Australia's list of "Australia's 10 Universities That Produce the Most CEOs", ranking in 8th place.
