Medivac – Geeveston motorcycle crash, TAS

25/02/2017 at approximately 5:30pm, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, was required to assist in the transport of a 13yr old male involved in a motor cycle collision just north of Geeveston, Tasmania Police say.

As a result the youth sustained head injuries and was conveyed to the Royal Hobart Hospital, where he is in a stable condition. Inexperience appears to have been a contributing factor in this incident.

Police wish to remind the public of the dangers surrounding trailbikes that may not be roadworthy and their usage in areas not design for riding.
