Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Meelon yesterday, Tuesday 16 January 2024.
About 8.20pm, a red Nissan Navara utility towing a boat was driving west on Pinjarra-Williams Road and an Isuzu truck travelling east were involved in a collision.
The 26-year-old driver of the Nissan Navara died from his injuries at the scene. A 28-year-old female passenger in the Isuzu truck received a head injury.
Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
