Meet Gold Coast's Everyday Heroes at Emergency Services Safari

Learn about the critical role our emergency services play on the Gold Coast at the City's first Emergency Services Safari.

The free events at Coomera on Saturday 16 June and Coolangatta on Saturday 29 June, will give residents the chance to meet the hard-working heroes dedicated to keeping the community safe.

Displays will showcase Queensland Police Service, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, Queensland Ambulance Service, State Emergency Service, Rural Fire Service and community recovery support agencies.

"City of Gold Coast works closely with emergency services and other agencies in the event of a disaster to ensure we are providing adequate relief and support to impacted communities," said Mayor Tom Tate.

"The Emergency Services Safari will help us share the incredible work these everyday heroes do to support the Gold Coast's Local Disaster Management Group by providing countless crews and resources towards rescues and recovery efforts.
