Melbourne Syndicate Scores Big in Lotto Superdraw

A Melbourne syndicate comprising 25 members is celebrating a windfall after their entry secured a share of the $20 million TattsLotto draw 4451 Superdraw top prize on Saturday, March 16.

In addition to winning division one, the syndicate’s marked System entry also won division two 6 times, division three 36 times, division four 315 times, division five 300 times, division six 400 times, bolstering its total windfall to $2,975,937.01.

Each of the 25 winning syndicate members receives a share worth $119,037.47.

This in addition to another syndicate of 22 Melburnians who held the other entry in this draw.  So, in total 47 Melbourne residents were division one winner in this superdraw.

Shares into the group syndicate, established by The Glen Lotto, The Glen, 235 Springvale Road, Glen Waverley, were also sold at eight other Tatts outlets across Melbourne:

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she encouraged all Melbourne players who purchased a TattsLotto syndicate entry into the weekend’s draw to check their tickets.

“We know some of these division one winning syndicate members have already begun celebrating their good fortune and are kickstarting the new week knowing they have a hefty boost coming into their bank accounts,” he said.

“However, others are starting their working week completely oblivious to their win.

“If you purchased a share into a syndicate for the recent TattsLotto draw, check it today! ”

The winning numbers drawn on Saturday, March 16th were 44, 40, 35, 17, 28, and 3, with supplementary numbers 26 and 33.

The total prize pool for draw 4451 amounted to an impressive $42,201,462.94.

The Saturday Lotto regularly hosts several special draw events throughout the year, including the Superdraw, which replaces the regular $5 million draw about six times a year with a boosted Division 1 prize pool of $20 million or more.

Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4451 – three in New South Wales, two in Victoria, and one each in Queensland and South Australia.
