One of Warrnambool's most iconic annual events, the Melbourne to Warrnambool Cycling Festival returns from February 3-4, 2024.
What's happening
Saturday sees the staging of the iconic Powercor Melbourne to Warrnambool Cycling Classic as well as the Royal Bikes Port Campbell to Warrnambool. The latter race gives amateur cyclists the chance to experience the magic of the "Warrni" in a more achievable format.
Then on Sunday the third instalment of the Lochard Energy Warrnambool Women's Classic will be held between Colac and Warrnambool.
How to watch
The best place to watch the action is in-person at the finish line on Raglan Parade near Liebig Street. The big screen will be set up so you can watch the race as the riders approach Warrnambool, before cheering them on as they sprint to the finish.

When will the riders arrive in Warrnambool?
Melbourne to Warrnambool (Saturday): Between 2pm and 4pm.
Colac to Warrnambool (Sunday): Between 1pm and 2pm.

Road closures
Saturday:
Raglan Parade (westbound) will be closed between Liebig Street and Banyan Street from 9am until 5.30pm.
Raglan Parade (westbound) will be closed between Flaxman Street and Kepler Street from 12.30pm until 3pm. Raglan Parade will be able to be crossed under the supervision of marshals when riders are not in the area.
Sunday:
Raglan Parade (westbound) will be closed between Liebig Street and Banyan Street from 10am until 4pm.
Raglan Parade (westbound) will be closed between Flaxman Street and Kepler Street from 12pm until 3pm. Raglan Parade will be able to be crossed under the supervision of marshals when riders are not in the area.
Heavy vehicles will be permitted, under speed reduction, to continue Westbound along Raglan Parade throughout the day however will be held during race finishing times on both days.
Interruptions will also occur to traffic on Flaxman St, Otway Rd, Hopkins Rd, Marfell Rd and Hopkins Point Rd during these periods.
