Several important items were considered at Melton City Council's 27 May meeting.

Planning Scheme Review

Melton City Council adopted the Planning Scheme Review's final report.

The review forms part of a regular process designed to improve and reassess the City of Melton's planning scheme, helping to streamline processes and address exponential growth.

More than 485,000 people are expected to call the City of Melton home by 2051.

The review will also help improve planning controls, land use and built form outcomes.

It includes recommendations to improve planning processes, strategic objectives and advocacy priorities.

A copy of the report and its recommendations will be provided to the Victorian Minister for Planning, as required under state legislation.

Council and Wellbeing Plan, Annual Action Plan

The Council and Wellbeing Plan 2021-25 sets out actions for Council to deliver to help meet the needs of its growing community.
