Meriton Suites, Australia's largest owner-operator of hotel suites, is set to unveil the diamond in its Queensland crown with a third Gold Coast based apartment-style hotel. Doors open to guests on Saturday 3rd July 2021 at this absolute beachfront location on The Esplanade at Surfers Paradise, just 700m from Cavill Avenue.
This brand new 332 apartment hotel offering in South East Queensland reaffirms Meriton Suites' commitment to playing a key part to support the region, especially as the Gold Coast has become the number one domestic destination for Australians to visit.
Meriton Suites' two existing hotel establishments at Broadbeach and Southport, which are both 200+ suite hotels, have consistently performed well over the past year, showing that the accommodation market on the Gold Coast is as much in demand today as it has ever been. Apartment-style hotels cater better for families travelling to this world-famous location by providing extra space often up to three times larger than a typical hotel room.
Hotel suites will occupy the first 31 levels in the stunningly designed 252-metre-high building named "Ocean", being the newest skyscraper to grace the Gold Coast skyline. The hotel will feature spacious suites that all cleverly designed to include sizeable open balconies, bringing a new level of luxury hotel accommodation to one of the best-known Gold Coast addresses. Given the landmark position, most hotel suites will boast unobstructed views of the famous sandy beaches, golden coastline and the Pacific Ocean.
Offering a selection of luxury studio, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom hotel suites, as well as two exclusive luxury Penthouse Collection suites, the larger suites all benefiting from the incredible views. Each hotel suite will contain residential-size gourmet kitchen along with the essential utensils for a home-cooked meal, a separate living and dining space with designer furnishings. All suites also contain HD TVs in the living room and in each bedroom, as well as internal laundries complete with a washing machine and dryer to continue the home away from home experience.
The hotel will also offer guests an exclusive Australian hotel collaboration between KEVIN.MURPHY and Meriton Suites. The Repair-Me range is perfect for travellers on the go who need to recover and pamper, offering quality products that nourish and strengthen hair and recharge the body.
Hotel guests will have access to an onsite indoor heated swimming pool, spa and sauna, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness centre. For ease and convenience, the hotel will also be home to a lobby-based cafe, Italian restaurant and a modern eatery with a licenced bar, heath & beauty speciality stores and a convenience store. Directly located behind the hotel, guests can access the Cypress Avenue G:link light rail station that connects them to key destinations such as Broadbeach, Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, Southport, Gold Coast University Hospital and to the rail interchange at Helensvale.
All guests will be kept connected with complimentary, unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi that is found in all areas of the hotel, including every suite. All in-room entertainment needs are also catered to with a unique premium own device TV streaming service that allows guests to stream content from their own phones or tablets to the televisions within the suite.
Meriton Suites has already started taking bookings as many people start to plan their winter holiday escape up to the Sunshine State.
Meriton Suites currently operate a total of 19 properties across Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with five new locations opening in the near future, including Meriton Suites' first Victorian hotel in Melbourne's CBD and the highly anticipated hotel offering in the Nation's Capital, Canberra.
