The City of Perth has scooped four national awards in the past week.
The latest award was "Parking Organisation of the Year" at the National Parking Industry Awards held in Melbourne with the City picking up the prestigious prize for its On-street Technology Transformation and Business Improvement project.
The recognition was well deserved given the huge enhancements the City has made to parking over the past four years.
We have introduced some game-changing technological improvements over the past year which have made parking in the City faster, smarter and easier.
We have installed new parking meters which don't just look better, they provide a smoother and more reliable parking experience, complementing the City's other recent addition of the EasyPark payment app.
Our new parking meters are cashless and ticketless, making them a more sustainable option.
Ultimately, Perth's parking business boosts the City's vibrancy while helping top keep Rates consistently low for ratepayers.
