NSW Police will trade their cars for bikes this weekend in support of NSW Police Legacy.
Officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District will take part in Legs for Legacy at Port Macquarie PCYC.
Launched in 2022, Legs for Police Legacy is a 24-hour spin bike challenge to raise awareness in support of NSW Police Legacy.
NSW Police Legacy steps in during times of tragedy, supporting families who have lost a serving or retired police partner or parent.
Officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District will be riding at Port Macquarie PCYC from 12pm Sunday (20 October 2024).
Detective Superintendent Shane Cribb said he was proud to see officers giving up their free time to support Police Legacy.
"Every day these officers are out in the community doing all they can to keep our region safe, so I encourage everyone to come along to Port Macquarie PCYC and show their support and cheer them on," Superintendent Cribb said.
"Officers won't just be putting the pedal to the metal, there's also a raffle, so if you can please come along and support NSW Police Legacy."
