Bayside Council hosted Migrant Information Day at the Rockdale Town Hall on Wednesday 2 October 2024.
This annual, free event supports new migrants and refugees settling in the Bayside community.
Migrant Information Day plays a crucial role in helping new arrivals learn more about the available resources and assistance when settling into a new community.
More than 40 information stalls provided information and assistance on housing, health, employment, education and support as well as the government services available to help new migrants.
Visitors also enjoyed the many cultural performances and a free barbecue.
