The new entry forecourt at Mill Park Library is now complete. Council has constructed an accessible ramp to the main entry, installed outdoor seats and tables, fitted coloured building lights and planted lush new trees and plants.
A new water harvesting system has also been installed to ensure that the building is sustainable now and into the future.
The next stage of the upgrade will include the construction of an outdoor learning area and meeting space, with sensory play elements and a community garden.
These upgrades are delivered by the City of Whittlesea in partnership with the Australian and Victorian Governments.
