Today, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, concluded a two-day visit to New York City as part of the Team Canada engagement strategy with the U.S.
Minister Champagne met with Gary Cohn, Vice Chairman of IBM, to discuss ways Canada and the U.S. can work closer together to strengthen and secure semiconductor supply chains in North America.
The Minister also met with top executives at Cerberus Capital Management, including former U.S. vice president Dan Quayle and former U.S. secretary of the treasury John Snow. He also met with the CEO of BlackRock, Larry Fink, and with TD Bank's President and CEO, Leo Salom.
