The Ministry of Manpower stated it's prepared to organize the G20 Labor and Employment Ministers' Meeting (G20-LEMM) in Bali from September 13 to 14, 2022.
This year's G20-LEMM deals with the theme "Improving the Employment Conditions to Recover Together".
The Minister of Manpower, Ida Fauziyah said that Ministry of Manpower had prepared for the smooth running of the G20-LEMM.
"As the host, we are ready to hold the G20-LEMM agenda, both substantially and technically. We are optimistic that the event will run well to contribute the great benefits for the world of work," the Minister of Manpower said through a Press Release of the Ministry of Manpower's Public Relations Bureau, Tuesday (13/9/2022).
The Minister of Manpower said that 20 Manpower Ministers from 20 G20 member countries, 4 Manpower Ministers from 4 G20 permanent observer countries, 5 Manpower Ministers from 5 regional forum chairmen, 7 international organization leaders, and 5 G20 engagements chairmen will the attend the G20-LEMM meeting.
The even series begins on 13 September 2022 with the event in the form of an opening, followed by a joint statement from 9 countries, and closed with a gala dinner.
While on 14 September 2022, the event will begin with a welcoming speech by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, KH Ma'ruf Amin and remarks by the Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah.
Next, there will be 5 forums in the meeting. Session (1) discusses global labor market updates and reports from international organizations. Session (2) sharing by social organizations and G20 groups and their commitment in responding to global issues for recovering stronger together.
Sessions (3 and 4) ministerial statements on EWG declarations and priorities. Session (5) adoption of ministerial declarations and annexes.
Additional information, the G20-LEMM is an annual international forum that brings together the Ministers of Manpower from G20 member countries since 1999.
